Контрабандистов, которые везли сотни древних монет и артефактов, обнаружили в пассажирском поезде «Ташкент-Новосибирск», сообщает Centralmedia24.
Мужчины пытались вывезти из Узбекистана исторические ценности — 325 древних монет, ювелирные изделия, артефакты и наконечники стрел. Контрабанду оценили в 30 000 долларов (свыше 16 млн. тенге).
Все изъятое таможенники передали безвозмездно в государственные музеи и научные учреждения.
Ранее в результате совместной операции департамента АФМ по Туркестанской области и ДКНБ, а также при содействии правоохранительных органов Узбекистана пресекли деятельность международной преступной группы, организовавшей контрабанду нефтепродуктов через подземный туннель.
